New York-based Interior Design firm seeks experienced office manager; details and minimum requirements as follows:
Must have previous experience with Architectural and/or Interior Design firms. *NO EXCEPTIONS: Please note applicants that do not meet this requirement will not be considered.*
Must be highly organized and able to effectively manage billing process, including tracking billable charges, compiling information from various sources, and using the information to create approximately 55 bills per month.
Basic accounting skills required, along with an ability to analyze billing and efficiency of company expenses and staffing.
Effective management of accounts payable, including credit card accounts, shipping accounts, and messenger/car services, as well as general office purchases.
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Quickbooks required. Must be familiar with Outlook to maintain schedules for the office and partners. Familiarity with FileMaker Pro a plus.
Data entry and filing of sales and purchase orders for Interior Design projects.
Solid communication skills a must. Telephones will be answered properly and courteously. Some client interface involved.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to work with all levels of staff and management.
Full-time employee desired with the possibility of flexible hours.
